A cooler is a cabinet, a motor, a pump, a fan blade, a switch and pads. When those parts come from four different suppliers, every delay, mismatch and quality slip lands on the brand. That’s why more cooler brands and distributors now ask one question first: who can supply the core components together?

Willwin India has made air cooler pumps, fan blades and rotary switches in Bawana, Delhi since 1998. Here’s what one-source supply changes — and when to place each order.

What one-source supply solves

Parts that work together. The pump’s flow must suit the pads, the blade must suit the motor, and the switch must carry the motor and pump load. One maker can match all three to your cooler instead of you reconciling three spec sheets.

One quality standard. The same testing and the same people across every part, batch after batch.

Fewer purchase orders, one delivery schedule. In peak season, three suppliers mean three chances to be short. One supplier with one plan cuts that risk.

One point of accountability. If a cooler comes back, you don’t spend a week deciding whose part failed.

When to order: a season sourcing calendar

Cooler sales in North India are packed into a few hot months. Factories fill up long before the first heatwave. This is the timing we recommend to the brands and distributors we work with:

Months Cooler brands (OEM) Distributors and dealers
Sep – Oct Lock next season’s models; request samples; fit-test pumps, blades and switches in your cabinets Review last season’s returns by part; shortlist suppliers
Nov – Dec Approve samples; place the first bulk order; agree a delivery schedule Place the first stock order for fast-moving sizes and watts
Jan – Feb Main production; call off deliveries on schedule Build stock; fill gaps in sizes
Mar – Apr Top-up orders for best-selling models Peak sell-through; repeat orders for fast movers
May – Jun Final top-ups only; capacity is tightest Replacement and service parts
Jul – Aug Review the season; feed issues into next year’s specs Clear slow movers; plan next season

The main lesson: orders placed in March compete with everyone else’s. Orders placed in November get priority.

How to start

  1. Send us your cooler models, cabinet sizes and motor details.
  2. We recommend a pump, blade and switch for each and send samples.
  3. You fit-test them in your own cabinets.
  4. We agree volumes and a delivery schedule for the season.
